Prof. Jeanne Ngogang, née Yonkeu, is a distinguished Cameroonian biochemist, Professor Emeritus of Biochemistry and President of Université des Montagnes in Bangangté, Cameroon.

A senior academic and scientific leader, she has devoted her career to biochemistry, health sciences, medical education and the strengthening of higher education institutions in Africa. She is recognized for her contribution to scientific training, university governance and the development of academic excellence in Cameroon.

Prof. Ngogang has held major academic leadership responsibilities, including senior roles in biochemical and physiological sciences. Her scientific and institutional journey reflects a strong commitment to education, research, ethics, health sciences and the preparation of future generations of African professionals.

As President of Université des Montagnes, she contributes to the consolidation of an institution dedicated to scientific, medical and technological training. Her leadership illustrates the importance of strong African universities in building the skills, knowledge systems and scientific sovereignty required for the continent’s transformation.
