Ambassador Adewale A. A. COLLE
Adewale A. A. COLLE is the Founder and Chairman of the SIRAGA Forum, a former diplomat and senior international executive at WACAFMO/OMAOC. A pioneering figure in drone technologies, geospatial intelligence and advanced digitization in Africa, he is also a Research Engineer affiliated with CIPMA / UNESCO Chair, specializing in georadar technologies, lasergrammetry, point cloud modelling and the digitization of invisible or non-visible structures.
Ambassador Adewale A. A. COLLE is the Founder and Chairman of the SIRAGA Forum – International Symposium on Robotics and Geospatial Analysis in Africa, a high-level pan-African platform dedicated to robotics, drones, geospatial intelligence, security, industry, innovation and the technological sovereignty of the African continent.
A former diplomat, senior executive and international civil servant within the Maritime Organization of West and Central Africa – WACAFMO/OMAOC, where he served as Head of the Information and Communication Centre, Ambassador Adewale A. A. COLLE has built his career around a continental vision rooted in institutional cooperation, maritime security, territorial intelligence, strategic data governance and technological innovation in service of African States.
A pioneering figure in drone technologies, geospatial intelligence and advanced digitization in Africa, he is also a Research Engineer affiliated with CIPMA / UNESCO Chair, where he contributes as a specialist in georadar technologies, lasergrammetry, point cloud modelling, 3D digitization and the digitization of invisible or non-visible structures.
His work focuses primarily on point cloud modelling, sensor optimization and the processing of multidimensional data, which are essential to geospatial analysis, intelligent mapping, advanced technical inspection, critical infrastructure monitoring and the precise understanding of territories, networks and complex environments.
As President of iRobotics, Ambassador Adewale A. A. COLLE contributes to the development of applied solutions in drones, LiDAR, georadar, photogrammetry, digital mapping, digital twins, industrial inspection, maritime safety, environmental monitoring and the digital transformation of strategic territories and infrastructures.
He is also the Accountable Director of the iRobotics Institute of Drone – IID, an international training, certification and expertise initiative dedicated to unmanned aviation, geospatial intelligence, advanced technical inspection and emerging technologies, with activities and presence in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Togo, Benin, Nigeria and Côte d’Ivoire.
Through the IID programme, he works to structure a new generation of African competencies in remote piloting, geomatics, drone maintenance, operational safety, 3D modelling, critical infrastructure inspection and field-based technologies. His action aims to make advanced training a lever for professionalization, technical sovereignty and employability for African youth.
Through the SIRAGA Forum, Ambassador Adewale A. A. COLLE carries a major pan-African ambition: to bring together States, institutions, universities, research centres, industries, investors, security forces, experts and youth around a shared vision — positioning Africa as a sovereign, credible and competitive actor in the strategic technologies of tomorrow.
